Snapshots
ZFS snapshots protect your vault data at the storage layer — independent of your restic backups.
You run restic on your machine. It deduplicates, encrypts, and sends data to your vault endpoint. You control the schedule, the paths, and the encryption password.
We take ZFS snapshots of your vault dataset on demand. These protect against accidental deletion or corruption of your restic repository itself. Max 3 stored.
